Colin Strapp

Colin believes the best client relationships begin with something simple: listening.
As part of the client acquisition team at Edwards Asset Management, Colin spends much of his time meeting individuals and families who have worked hard to build wealth but feel their financial lives have become increasingly complex or disconnected. His approach is centered on understanding what matters most to each person, where their frustrations lie, and what they ultimately want their wealth to help them accomplish.
Colin began his career in financial services in 2018 with Merrill Lynch and later gained experience at Morgan Stanley. However, his approach to working with people has been shaped by experiences well beyond the financial industry. From serving guests in fine dining to coaching high-level baseball, Colin has spent much of his career learning how to communicate with different personalities, ask better questions, and help people move toward a goal.
He is particularly passionate about working with individuals who want to better understand their financial lives and are open to new ideas. For Colin, one of the most rewarding parts of his work is helping someone move from uncertainty or frustration to feeling excited about the path ahead.
Originally from Philadelphia, Colin now lives in Southwest Florida with his growing family. Outside of the office, he is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan and is currently attempting to become a better golfer—a work very much in progress.
