Meet the host

Aaron Alviso

Executive Director | Senior Cyber Engagement Lead Cyber Human Defense

Aaron Alviso serves as a Senior Cyber Engagement Lead on the Cyber Client Advisory team within Wells Fargo’s Cyber Human Defense | Information Security Division. In his current role, Aaron leads strategic threat research, delivers tailored cyber threat briefings, and drives cybersecurity awareness for clients and internal stakeholders. Before assuming his current role, Aaron dedicated eight years as a senior analyst on the Wells Fargo Cyber Threat Intelligence team where he led initiatives researching, analyzing, and forecasting risks to the enterprise. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Aaron spent over ten years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation overseeing intelligence operations supporting national security and criminal investigations.

Additionally, he is a U.S. Army veteran, having served two combat deployments as an intelligence analyst and collector in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Aaron holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems Security from Boston University, a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies from American Military University, and the GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender credential from SANS Institute.

To share his passion for cybersecurity and give back to the community, Aaron serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Cyber Defense program at Alamo Colleges in San Antonio, Texas.
